1805GEH ‘Gehiengoaren Hiria’ book
Together with Ander Gortazar.
‘Gehiengoaren Hiria’ or ‘The City of the many’ , as it would be translated in english, is a research on the architecture around the Bay of Pasaia. This landscape is considered as ‘ugly’ as are many other urban developments from the desarrollist times in the 60’s and 70’s Spain. The book analyses the buildings and works on the concept of nostalgia as source for the conception of uglyness. In the end, the book is an homage to an architecture that has never been valued.
