1712TXO Competition for new equipment in Txomin-Enea

Together with Igor Muñoz Tobalina

Txomin-Enea is a recently built development. Nothing of what once stood there remains and the ghostly feeling of the area suggests the lack of a community.

The competition proposes the plot of a previously demolished arts centre as the place where a new public facility could be built.

The proposal collects the few remaining traces of the past neighbourhood and proposes a building that turns the lineality of the new area, creating a cross movement towards the river. The building stands as a central point for interaction of the new neighbourhood with various cultural and sports facilities.
